Apple announces Safari 5 will be much faster than Firefox 3.6. Apple's Safari browser capabilities have improved Prefething DNS and page cache. The new system increases the performance of the Safari browser  5 to 30% faster than Safari 4. Apple said Safari 5 also match the speed of Google Chrome.

• Improved stability when using JavaScript-intensive extensions
